This is just a painting John - I feel as if I've stepped into a Constable or a Gainsborough - what a magnificent work this is. I don't think anyone can compare to your work. But in terms of concepts...I think we are kindred souls for this idea has been much on my mind lately and I've a whole series by this title. Such a old world feel, love it!

I'm all for it, a simpler life. My students mock me because I have an "old" flip phone and do have or want a smart phone. I tell them I want to look at my surroundings for inspiration, not stare at a hand held device! I also don't feel the need to be in constant communication by text, a simple life, yeah, "let the birds sing"! Thank you, a wonderful image! fv and vote!!!
